Following a rigorous selection process by the independent Florin Award Jury, three finalist-nominees have been announced in each category. Community voting is now open. Winners will be announced by the Chair of Jury, Christian König at the Global Payment Summit in Singapore 12 – 13 October 2016.
The digital age makes fraud prevention a critical task. The Best Fraud Prevention Innovation award goes to the best innovation that looks to shake up the payments industry in terms of fraud prevention. Innovations, nominated in this category, strive to minimize online privacy and security problems that could lead to fraud and, therefore, impact both the company and the customer. “In the constant metamorphosis of the payments industry, new players bring about exciting innovations to challenge traditional ways of transactions. The Florin Awards highlights the best providers deserving of recognition for the extraordinary work they do, and promotes the industry, leading the digital transformation of our societies,” said Chairman of the Global Payment Summit, Harry Smorenberg.
