Do you know where your merchants are?

Newly implemented guidelines require additional information on a merchant’s basic location. A merchant account lacking an address upon checkout may suggest illegal activity. By including outlet locations, acquirers have a better view into their merchants and consumers are better protected.

Merchant Outlet Check manages your existing merchant portfolio and does the following:

  • Verify your merchant’s transaction country is displayed in the checkout process
  • Checks for mismatches between the transaction country and the merchant/acquirer jurisdictions
  • Confirms an acceptable cardholder correspondence address is listed on the website
  • Highlights any merchants in exceptional categories, such as travel-related merchants or digital goods merchants
