From May 27th to the 29th, four members of the G2 team (Sophia Chen, Hiro Hayakawa, Emily Sander and Keith Groves) journeyed to the Marina Bay Sands Convention Center in Singapore for the VISA Security Summit.
G2 Web Services was honored to sponsor and exhibit at this event, which focused on “Securing Our Future Growth.” The conference had attendees from Australia, New Zealand and Asia, and was focused on merchant risk and compliance. G2 welcomed the opportunity to connect with clients and new industry colleagues. Although the attendees varied in terms of geographical location, all focus was kept on risk and compliance.

With over $11.2 billion in fraud loss every year, G2’s booth focused on the risks involved with fraud loss and compliance techniques to help minimize it, including G2 FraudFile. Furniture, travel, event tickets and digital goods seem to pose a higher risk of bust-out merchant fraud for acquirers. In these cases, merchants have flexibility on delivery leading to a delay in fraud detection. Prevention and early detection are key elements in fraud protection, leading to a decrease in financial losses associated with fraud.

At the end of the event, our Executive Vice President, Keith Groves, had the opportunity to award the winner of our giveaway with a pair of new headphones. Thank you to Visa for putting the event together and making sure it was a great success!
